Madayi Mosque is an ancient mosque situated in Madayi Village. The Madayi village is in Kannur District and this famous ancient mosque in Kannur was built by a Muslim preacher Malik Iban Dinar in 1124 AD and is situated about 22 kms from Kannur town. The mosque is said to be more than a thousand years old and has been rebuilt in the Indo-Saracen style of architecture. It is believed that the marbles used to built this Mosque were brought from Mecca by its founder, who came to India to spread the word of the prophet. This mosque is one of the major attractions in Kannur. Madayi mosque is also one of the major Muslim pilgrimage destinations in Kerala.

A dilapidated fort is situated near this mosque and this fort is believed to have been built by Tipu Sultan, the then ruler of Mysore. The Mosque is about 22 kms from Kannur and 115 kms from the Calicut Airport.
