Vythiri

Vythiri is situated 100 kms from Kozhikode and is a beautiful hill station about 1300 m above sea level. It is a located in the sylvan Northern High Ranges of Kerala in Wayanad district. There are coffee, tea, cardamom, pepper and rubber plantations in this area. There are acres and acres of lush green land interspersed with perennial streams and rolling hills, at Vythiri. There are the mist-capped mountains and breathtaking scenery that add to the tourist attraction. A beautiful district of sprawling spice plantations, luxuriant forests and rich cultural traditions. Vythiri, has been able to retain its pristine nature over the years and makes an excellent picnic spot for both locals and tourists. The resort at Vythiri is just 60 kms from Calicut.
